ALDI issues recall for flour brand amid E. coli concerns

Supermarket chain ALDI announced Thursday that it is recalling 5-pound bags of Bakers Corner All Purpose Flour, citing concerns of a potential presence of E. coli. The recall impacts select stores in the northeast: Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont and West Virginia. The impacted flour, which was sourced from an ADM Milling Co. production facility in Buffalo, N.Y., contains the UPC code: 041498130404. ALDI says it is recalling the flour out of an abundance of caution. The company says consumers should discard the flour immediately or return it to their local store for a full refund.
