Britain’s Got Talent host Ant McPartlin gets denied by contestant live on air – DigitalSpy.com

By

It’s always embarrassing when you’re left hanging. Unfortunately, Britain’s Got Talent presenter Ant McPartlin had to go through it on live TV.The presenter got totally denied while hosting the third night of the ITV reality competition’s live semi-finals on Wednesday (May 29) along with his telly partner Dec Donnelly.

Now, it wasn’t Dec who embarrassed Ant on live telly — it was actually contestant John Archer! The comedy magician had just performed an amazing set where he correctly predicted the lottery numbers when Ant went in for a handshake. Then, this happened:
When Ant offered his hand to John Archer, the magician didn’t see it and it caused an awkward few seconds where Ant was left hanging in front of the nation. The rest of us really felt second-hand embarrassment in that agonising moment (when we finished chuckling):

John also had some fun at Dec’s expense during his routine when rattling off a series of numbers, joking that “seven” was “the age of Dec when he stopped growing”.Unfortunately, John finished in third place overall for the night behind singer Colin Thackery and comedian Kojo Anim, both of whom will go on to the finale. John is still eligible for the wildcard slot.
